Regular Money Market Accounts
A money market account (MMA) is a wonderful way to earn increased dividends while maintaining easy access to your funds. Unlike savings and IRA certificates that do not allow for early withdrawals without penalty, you may make up to three withdrawals each month from a Carolina Trust money market account.

We offer five tiered-rate money market options. The dividend rate will depend on the balance maintained in the account. Money market accounts provide higher dividend rates than traditional checking and require a monthly minimum balance of $2,500.

*If account balance falls below $2,500 within a month, then a $5 fee will be assessed. If more than 3 withdrawals are made from the account during a month, then a $5 fee will be assessed for each withdrawal over three. Other restrictions may apply.

Please Note: Money Market Account withdrawals are subject to Federal Regulation D guidelines.
