If a Carolina Trust ATM is unavailable, then you can usually find a surcharge-free CO-OP ATM nearby. The CO-OP ATM Network provides surcharge-free ATM access to over 25,000 ATMs nationwide in restaurants and retail stores.

If using a CO-OP ATM at participating 7-Eleven® retailers, select “ATM” when given the option before making your transaction.

More About Surcharge-Free CO-OP ATMs:

If traveling for work or vacationing, don't forget about CO-OP ATMs when you need cash.  Carolina Trust is a member of the CO-OP ATM Network, which means our members may use any CO-OP ATM surcharge-free.

Surcharge-free means the ATM owner (like a Bass Pro Shop, 7-11, Pantry, or other credit union) will not charge a fee to use their CO-OP ATM.  The only fee assessed is a $1 foreign ATM fee to cover the transaction made at a non-Carolina Trust ATM.

The CO-OP ATM Network provides surcharge-free ATM access to over 25,000 ATMs nationwide in restaurants and retail stores.  To find a CO-OP ATM, click here and enter the destination for a list of participating ATMs.

More About Free Shared Branching:
  • How do members conduct business at shared branches? Shared branches are linked with Carolina Trust electronically to give members direct access to their Carolina Trust accounts.

  • What basic transactions can be performed at a shared branch? Deposits, withdrawals, transferring funds between accounts, loan payments, and credit card and line of credit advances. Statements consisting of your last ten posted transactions may also be printed. Money orders and travelers’ checks may be purchased. A check may be deposited with appropriate hold. A withdrawal may be made after the hold has expired.

  • What information must members provide to complete a transaction? A shared branch will need your name, a picture ID, the name of the credit union to where you belong, and your account number.
