How to Set Up Visa Purchase Alerts

Visa Purchase Alerts help you stay informed!

Set up alerts on your Visa account transactions and get near real-time transaction notifications to help you identify potential fraudulent activities. Please use the steps below to ensure this service is enabled to help us better protect you.

1. Hover over card controls tab on main page when you login
2. Click on card management
3. Hover over the active card you are wanting to set alerts on
4. Click manage card
5. Click on settings icon under Alerts and Controls
6. Click on pencil icon by manage card alerts
7. Set alerts for a transaction that exceeds a set limit, a transaction that exceeds monthly set limit, deposits, withdrawals, drafts, etc.
8. Example: set alert for transactions that exceed $500.
9. Select alert for transaction that exceeds a set limit
10. Click on email for alerts and save
11. Click on per transaction limit again
12. Set amount of $500 and click on set limit
13. Once done, exit out
