The first step to helping protect your money is routine monitoring and real-time account notices.

Once securely logged in to our digital banking platform, you can set up free electronic alerts and enroll in free electronic statements.

For current members:
As of July 27th, any eAlerts set up in the previous online banking system will no longer work since our new digital banking system provides a more robust selection of account alerts and notifications.


Staying informed about your account transactions is important. eAlerts track the account activities you specify – like a large debit/ATM withdrawal or direct deposit – and update you with a text or email if/when those transactions occur. You determine which eAlerts you want to set up and where the notices are sent. You can even provide multiple mobile numbers and email addresses if you share an account with someone.

Get eAlerts for:

  • Automatic deposits
  • Balances
  • Insufficient funds
  • Regulation D transactions
  • Transfers
  • And many more

Set up eAlerts by logging in to your Carolina Trust digital banking account.

  1. Select the Contact Tab within the Settings Menu and click on the edit icon.
  2. Be sure to identify your Mobile Phone as your Preferred Phone number and enable it for SMS Text Messaging. This will allow you to select “text” as a notification option.

Both must occur for text messaging to work.


When financial statements are sent in the mail, they become vulnerable to theft. eStatements provide a level of security with encrypted, password protection that keeps your information safer from fraudsters and identity thieves.

eStatements benefits:

Secure delivery. eStatements are accessed through online banking, which means your account identity has been verified with your unique login credentials. You receive a monthly email when your eStatement is available for viewing.

Convenient. You receive your statement faster online than by mail and save time decluttering and shredding paper copies

Eco-friendly. Less multi-page paper statements and envelopes mean less waste. However, if you need a paper copy of your eStatement, you always have the option to print it.
